Man commits suicide after sex with hen
What I want to know is...why did they slaughter the hen after this incident? Perhaps it might have talked?

    In honor of Memorial Day....

    Top 5 War Movies
Kelly's Heroes - Eastwood leads a rag-tag bunch of men to steal German gold.
Full Metal Jacket - Sgt. Hartman is the reason to watch this movie. Basic training has never looked so real or so bizarre on film.
The Bridge On the River Kwai - Alec Guiness leads a rag-tag bunch of British captives to build, then blow up a bridge they were forced to build for their Japanese "hosts". I dare you not to whistle along to that infamous theme song.
The Great Escape - Ensemble cast tries to escape German stalag. McQueen, Garner, Coburn, Bronson, Attenborough. (or any male actor who was ANYBODY in the early 60's was in this film!)
The Dirty Dozen - Lee Marvin leads a rag-tag bunch of convicted murderers in a suicide mission to assassinate German officers.
Runner's Up : M*A*S*H*, Saving Private Ryan, and Catch-22, Coming Home, Lawrence of Arabia, and Platoon.
    Remember..this is just my opinion!

    Porn is back in production
Oh, man, I feel the world is back in balance again. I can stop worrying that porn actors will be without food and shelter.

    Bart's Chalkboard Wisdom

    Sandwiches should not contain sand.

    Lyric of the Day

I never meant to make you cry
    And though I know I shouldn't call
It just reminds us of the cost
    Of everything we've lost
    Bad timing that's all

--Blue Rodeo--Bad Timing from the album Five Days in July

    Courtney admits drug abuse
She looks about 60 in this picture. Does anyone actually find this woman attractive?

John Hiatt with avid fans after the show in Concord, NH. 5/15/04 Posted by Hello

I'm thrilled to be able to post pictures in the blog now! Waahoooo.

When I Grow Up, I Want To Wear A Bikini At Auto Shows
"I'm totally going to keep in shape and learn how to walk in high heels as soon as I get boobs. " Yeah babe. Every girl's motto.

    Lyric of the Day

oh simple thing where have you gone
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on

Top 15 Drum Performances of the 1960's (according to Modern Drummer magazine)
    15. Good Lovin' - The Young Rascals - drummer: Dino Danelli
    14. Let There Be Drums - Sandy Nelson
    13. Twenty-Five Miles - Edwin Starr - drummer: Uriel Jones
    12. Hey Baby (They're Playing Our Song) - The Buckinghams - drummer: Jon Poulous
    11. I Got You (I Feel Good) - James Brown - drummer: Melvin Parker
    10. Wipe Out - The Surfaris - drummer: Ron Wilson
    9. You Keep Me Hangin' On - Vanilla Fudge - drummer: Carmine Appice
    8. A Whiter Shade of Pale - Procol Harem - drummer: Bobby Harrison
    7. She'd Rather Be With Me - The Turtles - drummer: John Barbata
    6. Spinning Wheel - Blood, Sweat, & Tears - drummer: Bobby Colomby
    5. Happy Jack - The Who - drummer: Keith Moon
    4. Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin - drummer: John Bonham
    3. Summertime Blues - Blue Cheer - drummer: Paul Whaley
    2. Bits and Pieces - Dave Clark 5 - drummer: Dave Clark
    1. Sunshine Of Your Love - Cream - drummer: Ginger Baker

Where is Ringo? Yeah, he wasn't really an innovator, but he was as solid as Dave Clark, at least. I must qualify that the magazine used Top 40 songs in this list, so there is plenty left out under that constraint. But Danny Seraphine is missing in there, even though most of Chicago's good stuff was post-1969. Still, I'm A Man has fantastic drumming!

German Couple Finds Out Stork Isn't Real
Trip to University Fertility Clinic....3000 Euros
    Fertility tests............................5000 Euros
Seeing the dazed doctor's faces when they discover the infertility is due to never having had sexual intercourse....PRICELESS.

Andy Kaufman Returns After 20 Years
I won't believe this until I see him do the "Mighty Mouse" bit on TV again.
My best friend and I saw this guy perform at San Diego State in the late 70's. I can't recall most of the performance, but I do recall leaving the theater feeling gypped. He pretty much sucked and I was disappointed.
If he really did fake his death, then perhaps he really belongs on the moon, all alone.

So, they kissed on the season finale last night....awwwwww.

    Lyric of the Day

    When I've almost had enough
Something about you draws me back again
    When I've almost given up
Something about you pulls me in
    And we're falling

--Mindy Smith--Falling from the album One Moment More

    Lyric of the Day

There’s a place in the sun
for anyone who has the will to chase one
and I think I’ve found mine
yes, I do believe I have found mine / so
    Close your eyes
    and think of someone
    you physically admire
    and let me kiss you
    let me kiss you

--Morrissey--Let Me Kiss You from the album You Are The Quarry

    Bart's Chalkboard Wisdom

I will only provide a urine sample when asked.

Parents Think Boy Is Reincarnated Pilot
This is just so weird that it could be true. Can't you just hear Jack Palance? Believe it.....or NOT.

The Stupid Store: Vintage Dukes of Hazzard Watch
Yes gals, so you'll know it's time to go git you a new pair of Daisy Dukes!

The Stupid Store: Bears In Tanks
Wait, the animal in the tank looks more like a cat. And suspiciously like....TOONCES? Say it isn't so, Toonces, the Cat Who Could Drive a TANK?????

Everybody can keep loving Raymond for another season
The writers should shake it up and make it interesting for the final season. Perhaps Ray could be striken with some horrible disease. Wait, that'd be too predictable. Maybe they could just make it funny, for a change.

    Lyric of the Day

These are the days that I’ve been missing
Give me the taste give me the joy of summer wine
These are the days that bring new meaning
I feel the stillness of the sun and I feel fine
Sometimes when the nights are closing early
I remember you and I start to smile
Even though now you don’t want to know me
I get on by, and I go the extra mile
These are the times of love and meaning
Ice of the heart has melted away and found the light
These are the days of endless dreaming
Troubles of life are floating away like a bird in flight
These are the days that I’ve been missing
Give me the taste give me the joy of summer wine
These are the days that bring new meaning
I feel the stillness of the sun and I feel fine

--Jamie Cullum--These Are The Days from the album Twentysomething

Ananova - Buskers to be tested to protect tourists' ears
Now this is a good idea, and it should be a requirement for all buskers in the T platforms in Boston. Hey, I smell a new reality series..."Should I Stay or Should I Go?" I'm calling Fox right now...

    the same changes
hold on to the voice inside you
    the same changes

--Sam Phillips--Same Changes from the album Martinis and Bikinis

Care and Handling of CDs and DVDs: A Guide for Librarians and Archivists
Useful information for care and storage of CDs and DVDs...apparently they are not as indestructible as was once touted.

    Rosie to play "retarded"
Yeah, it says that in the ARTICLE, so don't rag me for using that term. About the only thing that could make this more exciting would be to make the woman gay and anti-gun! I'll have to remember to program the dvd recorder for this one, eh?

    Famous Last Words

In loving memory from the Family.
Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel, Hollywood Memorial Park, Hollywood, CA

Since Bugsy was a huge mobster, I wonder which "family" paid tribute on the stone.
