What, That's Not Enough?
Top 5 War Movies Kelly's Heroes - Eastwood leads a rag-tag bunch of men to steal German gold.
Full Metal Jacket - Sgt. Hartman is the reason to watch this movie. Basic training has never looked so real or so bizarre on film.
The Bridge On the River Kwai - Alec Guiness leads a rag-tag bunch of British captives to build, then blow up a bridge they were forced to build for their Japanese "hosts". I dare you not to whistle along to that infamous theme song.
The Great Escape - Ensemble cast tries to escape German stalag. McQueen, Garner, Coburn, Bronson, Attenborough. (or any male actor who was ANYBODY in the early 60's was in this film!)
The Dirty Dozen - Lee Marvin leads a rag-tag bunch of convicted murderers in a suicide mission to assassinate German officers.
Runner's Up : M*A*S*H*, Saving Private Ryan, and Catch-22, Coming Home, Lawrence of Arabia, and Platoon.
Remember..this is just my opinion!

Where is Ringo? Yeah, he wasn't really an innovator, but he was as solid as Dave Clark, at least. I must qualify that the magazine used Top 40 songs in this list, so there is plenty left out under that constraint. But Danny Seraphine is missing in there, even though most of Chicago's good stuff was post-1969. Still, I'm A Man has fantastic drumming!
German Couple Finds Out Stork Isn't Real Trip to University Fertility Clinic....3000 Euros
Fertility tests............................5000 Euros
Seeing the dazed doctor's faces when they discover the infertility is due to never having had sexual intercourse....PRICELESS.
Andy Kaufman Returns After 20 Years I won't believe this until I see him do the "Mighty Mouse" bit on TV again.
My best friend and I saw this guy perform at San Diego State in the late 70's. I can't recall most of the performance, but I do recall leaving the theater feeling gypped. He pretty much sucked and I was disappointed.
If he really did fake his death, then perhaps he really belongs on the moon, all alone.
There’s a place in the sun
for anyone who has the will to chase one
and I think I’ve found mine
yes, I do believe I have found mine / so
Close your eyes
and think of someone
you physically admire
and let me kiss you
let me kiss you
--Morrissey--Let Me Kiss You from the album You Are The Quarry
The Stupid Store: Bears In Tanks Wait, the animal in the tank looks more like a cat. And suspiciously like....TOONCES? Say it isn't so, Toonces, the Cat Who Could Drive a TANK?????
Everybody can keep loving Raymond for another season The writers should shake it up and make it interesting for the final season. Perhaps Ray could be striken with some horrible disease. Wait, that'd be too predictable. Maybe they could just make it funny, for a change.
These are the days that I’ve been missing
Give me the taste give me the joy of summer wine
These are the days that bring new meaning
I feel the stillness of the sun and I feel fine
Sometimes when the nights are closing early
I remember you and I start to smile
Even though now you don’t want to know me
I get on by, and I go the extra mile
These are the times of love and meaning
Ice of the heart has melted away and found the light
These are the days of endless dreaming
Troubles of life are floating away like a bird in flight
These are the days that I’ve been missing
Give me the taste give me the joy of summer wine
These are the days that bring new meaning
I feel the stillness of the sun and I feel fine
--Jamie Cullum--These Are The Days from the album Twentysomething
Ananova - Buskers to be tested to protect tourists' ears Now this is a good idea, and it should be a requirement for all buskers in the T platforms in Boston. Hey, I smell a new reality series..."Should I Stay or Should I Go?" I'm calling Fox right now...
Rosie to play "retarded" Yeah, it says that in the ARTICLE, so don't rag me for using that term. About the only thing that could make this more exciting would be to make the woman gay and anti-gun! I'll have to remember to program the dvd recorder for this one, eh?
